This film injects a claustrophobic realism into the space survival genre, delivering an autopsy of human morality under the pressure of imminent extinction. Zhu Lingfeng 's narrative dismantles the safety of the Cangqiong spaceship when a rescue mission transforms into an examination of horror following a deadly alien invasion; it's a delivery of pure tension where the ship's steel testifies to the fragility of the survivors, forcing the viewer to process how the hunt for monstrous creatures pales in comparison to the mutation of humanity itself when the only escape is an infinite void that offers no mercy.
